Internal beauty is very important so do add lots of veggies/fruits/milk/milk products/ dry fruits to your daily diet. Have at least 8 hours sleep in night and 3-4 liter water in a day.Here are my external easy /natural beauty secrets with minimum efforts and maximum results also very helpful for working moms as well as homemakers.A) Skin Care1) For Face/Neck – Make a daily routine to apply any item/ingredients from your kitchen on your face/neck as per your choice/ requirement of your skin /availability like – Honey / Curd / Milk cream (Malai) / Pulp or slice of raw Veggies Slice / Pulp or slice of Fruits etc.Whenever you wash your face use cold water only after washing instead of using towel to dry / wipe face let the water dry naturally on your face as it will add moisture to the skin. Don’t wash your face more than twice/thrice a day. Always use mild/herbal face wash. Moisturizing your skin is must so use good day as well as night cream. You can use Coconut oil / Olive oil / Almond oil / Alovera gel / Malai as night cream. Scrub once in a week, you can use sugar scrub (Mix sugar & butter).2) For Nails / Elbow – Rubbing lemon over nails and elbow will be resulting clean /white/shiny/strong nails and fairer elbow.3) For Sunburn / Dark spots – Rub a slice of raw Potato / Tomato / Orange on tanned area, keep it for 5-10 min them wash with cold water. This is not only effective in removing tan but also very effective in lightening your skin tone. You can also use rose water for tanning. If possible, try to avoid sun exposure between 11 am to 4 pm . Always wear sunscreen / sunglasses/ hat / cap / scarf or use umbrella in sun. 4) For Wrinkles – Use skin creams and other treatments containing coconut oil or apply it directly to the skin to experience its benefits. Coconut oil is high in saturated fats and antioxidants that can reduce wrinkles, make a smoother skin, and reducing liver spots, if you eat it or if you apply to your skin.5) For Skin Tightening / Anti Aging / Minimize Pores Appearance – Apply egg white on skin leave till dry then wash your face with water. It is a good skin conditioner also, within a week you will notice the tightness in your skin as well as your pores will be close/vanish.6) For Acne / Pimples – Wash your face and take a pea sized white toothpaste on your finger and apply it directly on your pimple not on surrounding skin (Never use as a face mask). Leave the toothpaste for 2 hours or overnight and gently wash off with water. After applying the treatment once a day you may notice the improvement in the size & color of pimple.For acne treatment always go for an all white version of toothpaste not with red/blue/green (it may irritate the skin). This is because the ingredients will which help to dry out pimples such as baking soda/hydrogen peroxide/triclosan.7) For Soft & Silky Body Skin – Mix 10-15 gm Jagurry (Gud) in your water bucket and take bath from this water for soft / smooth / silky skin. Keep a bottle of moisturizer / body lotion in your bathroom and after shower and towel dry apply moisturizer / body lotion on your whole body, it will lock the moisture and nourish the skin.8) For Dark Circles – Light massage a little ghee under your eyes daily before going to bed, leave it overnight and rinse it off the next morning, you will see the good result after 1 week.You can also use almond oil/ vitamin E oil for dark circles.9) For Soft/Pink Lips – Simply rub/apply a slice of beetroot on your lips leave it for 5-10 min then wash the area with water. The deep purple color ingredient present in beet root has natural properties to reduce darkness of your lips.Always use Vaseline / lip balm on your lips before sleeping in night. For home made lip balm mix 1 spoon of strawberry pulb with 2 spoon of petroleum jelly for natural pink lips. Malai can also be used as a natural moisturizer for lips.10) For Swelled / Tired Eyes – Lack of sleep, too much stress or eye strain can swell eyes. To reduce this effect all you have to do is to take a ice cube, fold it into a paper towel and rub on your eyes. The coolness will soothe your eyes. You can also use simple cooling pad – take cotton balls dip it in cold freeze water and keep it on your eyes for 5-10 min, soon your eyes will feel refreshed. 11) For Smooth Heels – First exfoliate your feet, apply a layer of fat cream that softens/ nourish your skin and then cover your feet in plastic wrap (the one used in the kitchen) and then put your warm socks on. Wait at least half an hour, and the result is guaranteed: smooth and hydrated heels.12) For Dry Skin – Apply a little drop of mustard oil in your belly button (nabhi) before sleeping in night, you will never get dry skin and chapped lips as it improves your skin health. Do not use very hot water for bath always use luck warm /cold water.13) For Skin Bleach – Apply tomatoes / yogurt / lemon / pineapple / honey on your skin.B) Hair Care1) For Hairs - Don’t wash your hair more than twice a week and use shampoos with ingredients that strengthen hair. Always mild the shampoo before using on hairs (take some water in the mug a mix some shampoo in it).Avoid drying your hair with hairdryer, letting it dry naturally. Use wide tooth comb for hairs.2) For Dandruff – Apply Tamato juice on your scalp, leave it for 30 min and wash off with shampoo .You can also use this mask - mix 4 spoon Jagurry (Gud) Powder in 1 cup water, apply the mask on your scalp and leave it for 30 min then wash off with shampoo. Use it once / twice a week for better results.3) For Preventing Hair Fall – Do hot oil massage on your scalp for 15-20 min & leave it overnight. Now while taking bath do hot turban therapy (Hair steaming) – Dip your towel in hot water. Wring the towel to remove extra water from it and wrap it around your head. Let the hot towel be on your head for 10-15 min. After this you can rinse off your hair with a mild/herbal shampoo. This therapy / process opens pores of your hair which allows oil to go deeper in the roots. It makes your hair healthy and stops hair fall. It can be done once in a week and you will see the satisfactory results in 3-4 weeks. 4) For Frizzy Hairs- Apply milk on your scalp & hair, leave it for 30 min and wash off with shampoo. Use it once / twice a week for better results You will get shiny/silky/ straight hairs.5) For Preventing Premature Greying –Mix grated ginger with milk or jojoba oil and apply on the scalp and hair. Leave it for 10-15 minutes and then wash it off. It can be done twice/thrice a week. apply the mixture for 2 weeks regularly to see the existing grey hair getting a normal tone. For those with no grey hair, applying this mixture twice a week will ensure you do not see grey strands at an early age.C) Oral Care1) For Beautiful Teeth - Brush your teeth for two minutes twice a day i.e. when you first get out of bed and before you get back in at night. A whiter smile could be as easy as throwing out your old toothbrush so replace your toothbrush in every three months otherwise, you're just transferring bacteria to your mouth. 2) For Teeth Whitening - Simply put a spoonful of coconut oil in your mouth and swish it between your teeth for 5 to 10 minutes. Or add a few drops to your toothbrush and simple brush it on, or add the coconut oil to a corner of a clean wash cloth and rub it on. Also, coconut oil has antimicrobial properties so it’s great for your gums as well.After regular uses teeth will be indeed whiter, mouth overall feels healthier.Brush your teeth with baking soda once a weekGargle with apple cider vinegar. Do this in the morning and then brush as usual. The vinegar helps to remove stains, whiten teeth, and kill bacteria in your mouth and gums.3) For Tongue - Use a tongue scraper every morning to remove tongue plaque and freshen your breath. Plus, using a tongue scraper is more effective than brushing your tongue with a toothbrush, isn’t only about having fresh breath, it can also help prevent staining.If possible, use this tips for your husband also as I do because Mom & Dad both should look rocking.
