Ingredients
- 1/2 cup masoor dal, washed
- 1 inch ginger piece
- 2 green chillies
- 1 tsp (teaspoon) cumin seeds
- a pinch hing powder
- 1/4 tbsp (tablespoon) turmeric powder
- 2 tbsps refined oil
- salt to taste
Other Ingredients:
- 2 tbsp (tablespoons)cornflour
- 1 1/2 tbsp water
- 1/2 tsp (teaspoon) black pepper
- 1/4 cup white till
- refined oil for frying
- salt to taste

Protein rich snacks as it is made of dal.
Method
- 1 Soak the masoor dal for 2 hours. After that drain the water and grind it with ginger, green chillies.
- 2 Now add 1 cup of water to this paste and make it thin.
- 3 Now take a non stick pan and heat 1 tablespoon of oil and add zeera and hing powder to it. Then add turmeric powder to it.
- 4 Now add the dal mixture to the pan and cook till it gathers like a ball.
- 5 Now spread the ball in a plate with hands.
- 6 Allow it to cool and then cut into one inch pieces.
- 7 Now make cornflour mixture and spread the white till in a plate.
- 8 Now dip every masoor dal finger first in cornflour mixture and then roll in till.
- 9 Now fry them in oil till brown,
- 10 Serve hot with sauce or chutney.
