    This can be served as a great starter and a good evening snack as well. You get to feel the crunchiness in every bite with the taste of corn and prawns.

    Ingredients

    • 200 g medium sized prawns
    • 1 tbsp (tablespoon) Borges Extra Light Olive Oil
    • Borgefrit- Borges refined Sunflower oil, the most suitable oil for deep frying
    • 1 tsp (teaspoon) vinegar
    • 1 egg
    • 2 tbsps all-purpose flour
    • 1 tbsp cornflour
    • 1 tbsp rice flour
    • 1 handful cornflakes nicely crushed
    • 1 tsp chilli powder
    • 1 tsp oregano herb
    • salt for taste

    Method

    • 1 Clean the prawns thoroughly after removing the shells and veins.
    • 2 Then marinate the prawns in the mixture of vinegar, Borges Extra light Olive Oil, chilli powder, oregano herb and some salt.
    • 3 Now crack open a egg and beat the yolk thoroughly and add it to the marinated prawns.
    • 4 For the binding, add all-purpose flour, cornflour and rice flour to the mixture.
    • 5 Lastly dip each prawn in egg white and roll them on the crushed cornflakes.
    • 6 Heat a pan with Borgefrit-Borges sunflower oil and fry them till they turn golden brown.
