Walnut halwa is very good for health. A combination of milk and ghee and walnut makes it a nutrition packed recipe for growing kids and adults.
- 2 small cup walnut
- 2 small cup milk
- 1/2 small cup sugar
- 1/2 small cup ghee
- Pinch of cardamom powder
- 1 Soak walnut in milk for 5-7 minutes. Grind it into a thick paste.
- 2 Add ghee in a pan, followed by walnut paste. Mix it well. Add cardamom powder and milk and constantly stir and cook.
- 3 Add ghee in intervals.
- 4 Add sugar and mix well. Constantly stir it.
- 5 Stir and cook till the halwa starts lumping around itself and leaves the sides of pan.
