    About Netsurf
In their chaotic lives, all moms sometimes end up feeling lost, unfulfilled and tired. This is why we partnered with Netsurf to help you reclaim your life and vitality.
If there was one thing I could ask for my hair, it would be to always have a good hair day. Hair is something that can easily transform the way we look - good from bad and vice versa. In today’s fast pace world we hardly get time to take care of our tresses. The situation gets worse when you are a working woman or a mother, but if you are a working mother it is literally no less than a battle! I can only imagine how tough it can be to manage work and kids together. Starting from preparing your kid’s meals, sending them to school, getting ready for office, handling meetings with the clients, daily chores and activities, spending time with family... Where is the time to take care of oneself?

Despite all this, we cannot deny the fact that our hair needs some love in order to keep us looking presentable always. Since it is humanly impossible to have perfect hair all the time, appearing as if we walked straight out of a hair commercial advertisement, here are some of my trusted hacks to stay away from having a bad hair day.

    a) Invest in a Good Shampoo and a Conditioner

It is an inevitable fact that you need to use good hair products to see noticeable long-term effects and the two most important things that come in picture when you talk about hair care products are - a shampoo and a conditioner. Consider these as a foundation to give you a headstart to achieving those enviable tresses.

It is important to know your hair type and choose a variant that suits your needs. Say, if you have an oily scalp, go for a product that is targeted for the same and not something that worsens it. Similarly for dry hair go for something that is more nourishing. It is also good to use a nourishing hair treatment cream such as Herbs & More's Vitamin Therapy Hair Nutriment to control hair breakage and make hair strong, long and healthy. The Vitamin A in this product has antioxidant properties to prevent hair damage.

    b) Carry a Dry Shampoo

Always keep a dry shampoo handy to save yourself from hassle when your hair gets oily in the middle of the day. Spray some of it onto the roots so that it soaks up the oil on your scalp giving your hair an altogether fresh, pumped up look without making it appear flat or dull.

    c) Style with Care

Styling your hair on a regular basis may lead to damaged, unruly hair. It is highly recommended to use a heat protectant while you style them to keep them healthy and luscious. Forgetting to use it once in a while is fine. However, if you are blow drying, flat ironing or curling your hair on a daily basis with no form of protection being used, then your hair may become fried leading to many more bad hair days.

To avoid damage to your hair, stick to herbal products that nourish your hair and promote healthy growth. Netsurf's Herbs & More range is a good option to explore as it relies on herbs, vitamins and fruit extracts to stimulate hair growth and keep it soft and smooth. Plus, since it is completely herbal and free of sulphates and parabens, you don't need to worry about any side effects! Also go for a deep conditioning treatment once a month or so to help regain the lost moisture into your locks.

    d) Tame down the flyaways

Try a smoothening serum if your hair is dry or frizzy. Rub a pea-sized dollop of serum in the palm of your hands and apply it to the ends of your hair. Generally a good serum works well in taming down the unruly hair but if a serum is not as effective you can try spraying a hair setting spray on the brush and comb it through your tresses. This will give them the much needed hold without making them extra stiff.

    e) Learn Quick Hairstyles

Hairdos like a sock bun, a french tail or a sleek ponytail are some of the life saviours when your hair just won't behave. They are easy to do and quick to learn. These hairstyles not only cut down the stress when you are struggling with your hair but also give you a classy and chic look. You can also try on a plain head band that goes with almost everything and can jazz up your entire look when you've got no time to fix your hair.

While these little tricks can help you in staying away from having a bad hair day, the importance of naturally healthy and shiny hair cannot be overlooked. Keeping them in a good state is the key, and for that, it is advisable to use organic products that are free of chemicals.
