This Beautiful Picture of Kareena Kapoor and Her Baby Boy Will Instantly Win Your Heart!

Throughout her pregnancy, Kareena Kapoor Khan was all-embracing and enthusiastic, doing everything to keep herself and her baby in good health. Just like the modern Indian woman who knows how to take everything in her stride, she managed to beautifully balance her pregnancy with her personal and work commitments. She did not shy away from the cameras either, even as her baby bump got bigger, and even went on and shot an episode for a talk-show! After her delivery, she shared fresh pictures of her son and herself in the hospital. However, being a mommy, she had a big moment of doubt recently – and it involved the safety and health of her baby boy.

A few weeks ago, Bebo's husband Saif Ali Khan uploaded baby Taimur's picture as his WhatsApp profile picture. Not surprisingly, it quickly went viral. And like any other mommy, Kareena too worried that Taimur might fall prey to evil eyes...

In many Indian households, it is believed that sharing the newborn's picture can put him/her at risk for 'buri nazar'. This, in turn, may affect his health and wellness. The fear of the evil eye is also why many elders in the family recommend applying kajal to the newborn's eyes (which, as we know now, is not advised by doctors). There are also some internet security concerns associated with sharing information about your baby on social media. In fact, child experts warn that we must never share this over the internet, to protect our children from falling prey to cyber threats.

However, Saif confidently brushed these worries away and assured Kareena that they were all going to be just fine. "Agar nazar lagni hoti toh Kareena would be in the hospital by now. I don’t believe in all of that. I didn’t mean to share it. It was my WhatsApp display picture. But it is fine. I don’t plan to hide him."

The result? We have a new picture of Bollywood's own little prince Taimur to feast our eyes on! Have you seen it yet?

    Baby boy ????????

A post shared by Kareena Kapoor Khan (@therealkareenakapoor) on

In the picture, Kareena can be seen wearing a blue pullover and jeans, and cuddling baby Taimur – clad in a stone-grey overall and a stone-black t-shirt – in her arms. The dark-coloured clothes set off his soft baby skin and ginger hair beautifully. You can see Kareena lovingly planting a kiss on Taimur's head, while he giggles away at the camera. The mommy-baby bond is unmistakable – Taimur looks only far too comfortable and happy to be hoisted into mommy-Kareena's arms!

The New Parents Share How They Plan to Raise Taimur

It can be quite daunting to be a Bollywood star, especially when everyone wants in on your life. But we don't think anyone has nailed the game of being a star the way Bollywood's own little prince Taimur has. At only three months of age, Taimur Ali Khan – son of Bollywood's 'it' couple Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan – is already an Internet sensation, and is conquering more and more hearts with every new appearance on social media. However, the new parents plan to give their baby boy an upbringing that teaches him to be humble and down-to-earth, aware of his family roots and media interference, but grounded despite it all.

"We will have a tough time figuring out how to bring him up. I think Taimur is already a bit of a popular chap. So, I think we will have to teach him to be grounded, as people will watch whatever he does. We have discussed that one of us should be around, and if she shoots for a film, the shift can be adjusted in a way that she is home in time to be with him."

Saif also believes that parents must look after themselves first, for it is only then that they can look after the kids. The key lies in balance: between work and home, as well as between childcare and self-care.

"The whole world works and brings up children; it’s not impossible. I firmly believe that you have to look after yourself first and then your children. If you are a happy and sorted person only then will your energy be spent in all the right directions.”

Well, we just want to say one thing to you Kareena – when you have so many well-wishers around you and a husband who's already stepped into his Daddy role so well, chances are you and your baby are going to be just fine! We really do hope you're not feeling jittery anymore, Kareena. And of course, we are so glad you comforted her, Saif – we want to see more of your baby boy!

By the way – mommies, did you notice what we did in Taimur's new picture?

Take a closer look at Taimur's face.

Don't you think he looks like dadu Randhir Kapoor?

We don't think there is any family, or any couple, that has not jokingly debated over who the new baby in the family looks like. The girl's side of the family thinks the baby looks like them; the boy's side of the family claims the baby looks like them. Meanwhile, the baby is just looking at all these adults quarrelling and probably saying to himself – 'Hey, I look like them both! Can't you see?'

One thing we can say for sure – whether Taimur ends up looking like the Kapoors or the Khans, he is going to grow up to be one handsome fella alright! Having inherited the good looks of two of Bollywood's most gorgeous-looking people, it is a given, isn't it?

So what do you think? Who does baby Taimur look like - tell us in the comments! :-)

    1. Mommy Kareena Kapoor Khan

    2. Daddy Saif Ali Khan

    3. Dadu Randhir Kapoor

    4. I don't care – he's just so cute!

I agree with Varsha.. there's too much unnecessary hype created over the star mom... its useless!! Its not like she's the only woman to have given birth!! 24 March 2017

While the baby is definitely cute, I fail to understand why so much noise is being made about kareena kapoor and the baby. Don't most of the women work till their last date and deliver babies ( except in cases of some complication) . Also don't most of the mothers join back work after their maternity period is over? Infact there are so many women who don't even have nannies to support them. I guess World Of Mom's should pick up stories of women who may not have star status but are working equally hard or in fact more and share them rather than following the usual social media stuff. Every mother and child are unique and the best learnings are from everyday life and experiences. Let's not idolise someone just because of their star status. 24 March 2017
