Being an exclusive online community for moms by moms, we at World Of Moms understand the importance of having a support system that you can count on. As women, and more so as mommies, we must all come together and stand united for each other... and what better way to do this than by coming together as a group?
As part of the competition, we asked you to send us entries and tell us about yourself and your group. And to tell you the truth, you simply overwhelmed us with your earnest, enthusiastic and energy-packed responses!

1. Mother Bloggers of Bangalore

Here's a mommy group that takes both mommying and blogging very seriously and sincerely! Nidhi wanted to unite blogger-mommies of her city in order to promote exchange of ideas and information. This is how the group eventually came about. The members were not necessarily 'tech-savvy' in the beginning, but together, they have evolved into professional bloggers who are all eager to learn new things and share them with fellow-mommies.View the group here

Lyvia established this mommy group to create a feeling of belonging for herself and other Mangalorean women who were away from their home-town. Soon the group evolved into a credible source for professional advice be it medical, legal, or day to day aspects. 3. Happy Moms Raise Happy Kids

Fashion, lifestyle, parenting, career – no topic is taboo for this group founded by Anshika. The best thing about this group is that someone is always online to answer your queries. 4. Ovenderful Mom Bakers Community

This group embraces something that is core to every mommy – her urge to feed her child nutritious, healthy, and yummy food! Simran founded this group to bring together all mom bakers who have the passion and desire to share ideas as well as information specifically related to healthy baking. Simran stresses, 'This means keeping our bakes child-friendly, free of maida and refined white sugar, or artificial colours and preservatives!'

5. Mommies Random Chatter

This group was started by Daisy Mashhad Edibam to focus on solving domestic violence, financial problems, and health related issues of its members. Today, the group offers women a space where they can feel safe and secure, where there is no judging, no blame game and no hard words ever. The endeavour is to offer constant love and support from everyone to everyone, and, to quote Neha, 'That's the biggest strength and beauty of our group!"

A fun place for all mommies of Hyderabad, Sammy's group focuses on sharing information regarding the best events and activities happening in the city for kids, moms and families. The group actively shares a lot of good blogs, articles and each others' experiences with the view to lift each other up. The group also encourages its members to become financially independent and self-sufficient, and urges mommies to build an identity and a personality.View the group here||
7. Mommy A-Z

This peer support group originally founded by Shweta Talwar focuses on one thing primarily – helping each other out through personal experiences and learnings. Shweta eventually brought mommies Pia and Shivalli Jaggi on board. Today, this non-commercial group offers genuine, first-hand advice that is helping out moms on various issues - from A to Z!View the group here
8. Simple Indian Moms

This group goes beyond the community feeling and actually helps women to deal with abuse in their family setting – especially child abuse. Of the many concerns that the group tries to address, discussion on correct parenting styles is one of the most important ones. It is easy to feel lonely on the journey of motherhood, and this group endeavours to make its mommies feel heard, accepted, and appreciated. Another group that was started to bring mommies of a certain town together, Yamini's group strive to give mommies a spcae where they can prioritise themselves and not be judged for doing so. 12. MW-Mommies World For U & Me
Admin: Shalu R. Varadkar
With 55,000 members, this is one of the biggest mommy-groups in the competition. Shalu founded this group two years ago with the intention of offering help and guidance especially to mommies who live in nuclear families. However, the group has gone far and beyond this and become a platform for women to make new friends, expand their businesses, and even tackle personal issues with the help of its members.
